I'd had the same pair of Doc Marten boots since I was 17. My boyfriend at the time found them in a house he moved into and gave them to me. They were already used and a little worn and they haven't really changed much since then despite years of frequent wear. They are so amazingly sturdy! If you buy a pair of Doc Marten's, expect to keep them for life--even if you buy them used. I like to wear them unlaced with skinny jeans tucked in or tights. It's a classic rocker style. Pair them with babydoll dresses or florals to get on board with a nostalgic 90's riot grrrl look.
