Sleigh Bells, LCD Soundsystem, & Devendra Banhart

The Beautiful Tabernacle
The beautiful Tabernacle in Atlanta.
It's been a busy week. Along with helping get the new Wiloh collection ready to launch on 10.10.10 and negotiating a contract with another brand I'm very excited about (more on that very soon), I went on a road trip to Atlanta on Monday to see Sleigh Bells open for LCD Soundsystem, then caught Devendra Banhart in Nashville the next night. I had every intention of snapping an outfit shot for the road trip / show outfit, but never took a moment away to pose. It wasn't a very exciting outfit though, just a yellow flannel from Target over a t-shirt and black Hudson jeggings, Docs, and my SST Records bag. I did get a couple shots of the packed crowd though. The crowd was crazy! We were up on the third floor at The Tabernacle (the most beautiful venue I've ever seen) and had plenty of room.
Beautiful Sardines

My outfit the next night at Devendra Banhart was more interesting anyway, in my opinion.
My Outfit - Lots of stripes

  • Striped Shirt thanks to Vogel10. This is soo soft. Now that it's gotten cooler I've been wearing it all the time.
  • French Connection skirt
  • Target gray tights
  • Beaded bracelet from Chloride, AZ
  • Rebecca Minkoff bag thanks to Shopbop.com
  • Ugg boots thanks to Whooga Boots
  • - Oh yes, I am wearing Ugg boots. They're metallic pewter, they look like space boots, and they feel like clouds. What's not to love? Uggs are pariahs in the fashion world, but I don't care about all that. If I like a shoe I'm not going to not wear it just because there's some silly stigma attached because they were a little too popular five years ago and Pam Anderson was photographed wearing them too often. I really don't care. Tell me they're uggly. I don't give a fugg.

Speaking of beauty, girls were crying over Devendra, he's so beautiful, haircut and all.
