Tooth Dreams Realized
I've been going on about wanting a gold tooth pendant for over a year now, with one appearing on my wishlist throughout the seasons. The problem was always finding the right one for the right price. I never gave up the search (that I would do intermittently), and finally came across these silver ones recently. They're not gold... but they're the right shape (3D molar), and a good price. Yoink! Mine! I put them on a 14g gold segment hoop (actually an earring) with a 26" long oxidized silver bead chain. It's perfection and I love my new necklace like crazy. I'm half-tempted to make more and sell them, but not sure if it's worth the trouble or if what is amazing to me is creepy hipster trash to others. Ha!

As dear awesome Grant pointed out, you can see me wearing this in the last post: http://anniespandex.com/et-cetera/even-cowgirls-get-the-blues/
It is a bit unnerving in a way, but kinda cool and your style. I think you should sell it!

Personally, I would have done a short leather cord with just one tooth, but it”s pretty cool!

Oh Wow, I love it!!!
That necklace is definitely really unique. You did a really good job on the necklace.
Ever since I found out that my mother very creepily held on to all of my sister and my baby teeth when we lost them, I”ve wanted to thread them all onto a necklace and when people asked about it, scoff and say “These are brawl suoveniers Gurl!”
Of course, I”d probably wind up getting my teeth kicked in for that.
I see this necklace as a happy compromise – and a fucking awesome idea!

Isn”t it soooo satisfying finding something you”ve been after for a while?!?! I recently found a ring I”d been on the hunt for and sometimes I just stare at it feeling so proud I got it finally.
What a cool piece of jewelry!

Its always such a good feeling when you find something that you have been searching for for ages. I”m so pleased for you and its a fun accessory.
I love that you mixed silvertone and gold tone, usually it looks weaksauce but it really works here. Love it!
Finding “stuff” and putting it on a chain is just about my favorite way of hoarding jewelry – I just dug a 100+ year old key out of a drawer and put it on a chain, boom, I must wear that thing every damn day.
I love it. I”ve been seeing them around for a while now, but seeing it on you…I think i want one now XD
XO
What are you on about? Those are amazing.
Lynn Reno – I tried it with just one initially, and it looked cool but I was compelled to add something.
Grant – I”m all for it! xx
Amber – I thought about that especially since the circle is actually an earring.. they”re kinda heavy though, so I dunno.
Stella – Yes! I feel that way about certain 80%20 shoes you helped send my way. <3
ediot – Yes!! It used to be a fad in the mid-century when doing things like dipping baby shoes in bronze for posterity was common.
All Women Stalker – I think so, too!
EVERYONE – Thank you!! xoxoxxx
make more and sell them!!!!!!!!!!!!
you made this? wow! So professional!
