Pics From My Road Trip

After two weeks on the road I'm still a little tired, but it was an amazing vacation!

Kansas was an understated sort of majestic.
.

In Denver, I saw about 50 prairie dogs! They were soooo cute!
.

New Mexico was the most beautiful. We had to skip Utah and head South to avoid a snowstorm.
.

Arizona, near where I bought those beads and on the way to Las Vegas.

The Colorado River

We met the coolest couple ever there! Dressed in red from head to toe, with red hair, and of course they drove a red truck! They really know how to commit. :D
.

The Hoover Dam. They're building a bridge over it, so we were one of the last to drive across the dam. Not far past the dam was Vegas. I didn't take any pictures there, because you know what they say ;) haha

We drove all the way to the Pacific!!

And had a fish taco on Venice Beach. :)
.

The ever-elusive Mister makes a rare appearance!

We dicked around near an old defunct plutonium mine in Southern California. Don't worry, it's like hanging out near a fire detector apparently. Mister was looking for fossils. He's a fossil enthusiast.

And finally, we made it to Sedona, Arizona, where we spent Christmas with my parents at the house they rented. This was the view from the roof patio.

Sorry for the lack of fashion, road trip outfits are all about comfort. ;)
.
I'm very happy to be back home in Nashville! And so grateful I was able to make such a big trip. Like I said, I'd been wanting to do that for ages.

    Topaz Horizon – They didn’t mind us taking pictures. But there was a security checkpoint. Apparently they’re building a bridge so they don’t have to worry it as much anymore. ::shrug::
