Plastic Charms
If you were a child of the 80s like me, then there's a good chance that you are well-acquainted with plastic charms. From junk food like soda cans, french fries, hamburgers, and brand name candy bars, to toys like bicycles, roulette wheels, tennis rackets, baby bottles, and an abacus--there is a plastic charm for just about every object you can think of. Eggs in a frying pan? Check. Hairbrush? Oh yes. Many have a little jingle bell and d-ring like hook attached. Today these charms are collectible for nostalgia and novelty's sake, and also make really cute beads for necklaces and bracelets. Of course, you'll also want a few as keychains and zipper pulls.
