I wore this last night to a show. It's been a busy weekend!

I was so happy to finally meet Miwa, who is super sweet in addition to being talented beyond belief.

Here's the story behind the tube top. I bought a pair of awesome multicolor glitter tights last fall but they were "one size" and not long enough, so they'd been sitting in my drawer all this time. A couple days ago I got the bright idea to ::snip, snip:: cut them along the crotchline, and now I have a tube top and thigh high socks.

Awesome!

Everyone always asks where I got this vintage sequin purse. I got it from a Goodwill, and it appears handmade, but I recommend checking out the sequin purses on eBay:

    what a smart idea with the pants. i once converted a pair of lime green sparkly disco pants into a bug costume without doing any cutting or sewing. one pant leg was the dress and the other pant leg came out of my butt and we filled it with balloons. it was pretty epic.
