Oh, You Were A Vampire And Baby, I’m A Walking Dead
When I saw the precocious princess of glamour, Jane of seaofshoes.com, wearing a pair of Y-3 pants as a dress, I was inspired to wear my own pair of jersey gaucho pants in the same fashion. I'm not much for the asymmetrical sleeves look, but this is just so cool because they're pants! And amazingly comfortable when worn as a dress. I'm vamping it up this time in the spirit of Halloween.
The gaucho pants were thrifted, the striped tights are from Target, the shoes are vintage 80's Nine West (I was really tickled to find a picture of Hilary Duff wearing the same pair in this week's Star Magazine--yes, I read Star Magazine, lol...), the chain necklace is vintage, and the ring is my new wood and coral ring from eBay--it's even bigger than I anticipated which is awesome.

It is INSANE how well this works. You just KNOW that if you saw this in an editorial in Vogue you’d be like “Oh those silly fashion editors,” but look at this, you look awesome! Well done.
Wow, I never would have guessed the dress was pants. I had to look for a couple secs to see it. Cool! Looks great. Loooove the ring. I looove big rings. My favorite is a sterling and huge rectangle turquoise…I’m going to have to look into some wood/coral. Looove it. So earthy.
