New Year’s 2010
![]()
I had to use my cell phone to take pics last night! Sorry about the poor quality and crazy color balances. My battery charger is still packed up somewhere and after borrowing from several remote controls I failed to find any batteries with enough juice to work my camera. I'm hoping it was a battery issue and my camera is okay, if not, looks like I'll have to buy a new one. Any recommendations?

My goal was to dress like the Times Square ball with glitter and sequins from head to toe! On another night I may not have dared to go so overboard, but somehow I think my outfit passed through a threshold and out the other side.
Needs more glitter, you think?
I spent the evening bouncing between a dive bar for a show and a house party.
Click here and here for more cell phone pics I shared on Twitpic.

Wooot, sexy mama! LURVE the studs, so perfect for NYE! I think last night was like the 1st NYE in a while that I didn’t really dress up so I’m living vicariously through others.

Oh your little purse is so cute!! And I’m loving all the glitter on you:)
I love this outfit….and the beanie takes the cake. It’s just the right amount of glitz and glam!
oh annie – you look so sparkly gorgeous!
happy new year, hope its a good one! xxx
You look all bling-a-fied! Hehe, I love love love your dress. It’s funny because I never saw anything I liked on Glamlist when I was checking the sales, but maybe I’ll have to start looking at it again.
Love the outfit, especially your leggings!
Hot! My first thought was that you look like a disco ball before I even read your words!
Happy New Year!!!!!!
Happy New Year to you too
BTW, I love the way your pictures came out regardless of correct filters etc…. and your outfit looks great too
A DSLR would be nice. I got the beginner’s Nikon D40 and it works wonders for fashion shoots.
Happy 2010!
Excellent glitter effort!
Fun, fun outfit. The sparkly knee highs are awesome.
Totally adorable, and you definitely could have added more glitter. It was NYE, so you’re definitely not overly-glittered.
LOVE THIS !!! The idea of dressing like the Glitter Ball – AWESOME !!!
New Years Eve is too hot here in Australia – so I was dressing to try and cool myself down.
I really love that studded dress – it is a favourite of mine from your repotoire!
Xx
hny
is it your new décor to shoot yourself ? Like it.
Fffffestive!
you should go overboard more often – it looks good on you
Wanderlusting – Thanks! You must have been exhausted from your epic trip!
Sher – Thank you!
fashion therapist – I threw it on at the last minute out the door, that’s why it’s not in the full outfit shot. Thanks!
Chloe – You too! xx
Maggie – I bought it back in late September or October before they redesigned the site–it’s an Atomic.
daisychain – Thanks! They were originally tights but they were too short (crotch around the thighs syndrome) so I cute them into a tube top and thigh highs.
Kylie – Awesome! That was my goal! Thanks
Rachael – Thanks, hopefully it was just a battery issue.
All Women Stalker – I’ll make note of those. Thanks! You too!
WendyB – I tried!
The Clothes Horse – Thanks! They were originally tights that I cut off.
EmilyKennedy – Yes, MOAR GLITTER! It was lacking
Grant – It won’t be above freezing here for a week–of course, you like the cold, don’t you? I can take cave-like cool, but with this kind of cold, I’d happily trade you climates! xx
La Flore – It is, I’m still looking to find a good spot to take photos. Of course, the shag rug and adorable but tattered wallpaper will be gone eventually.
Bonnie Rue – Thanks! I’ll take your advice.
Awesome stockings girl! you look hot!
Wow Annie! You pull off sparkles and thigh-highs with garters better than anyone I’ve seen! Love the look!
So sparkly!
New years ALWAYS needs more glitter… unfortunatley the kind we had needed hoovering up in the morning.

Happy New Year!!!!
really like your outfit- especially the beanie- so cute.
Thanks, everyone!
MJ – Lol… I used to throw “Glitter & Gin” parties. There would be glitter EVERY where! I’d be finding it in my couch and on houseplants months later.
