I wore this to go out the other night. We went to an 8-bit show to see what that's all about. In theory, music made with modified Nintendo Game Boys seems like it could be pretty cool, but in reality it was like a terrible miniature version of a 90's-style rave without any glowsticks or parachute pants. Whatever Kraftwerk-esque fantasy I had dreamed up was shattered. We lasted about 5 minutes before heading off for drinks.

The dress came from eShakti. The lovely Nadia has the same dress only without sleeves (and she looks way gorgeous in it!). I had them add sleeves to mine. That's the cool thing about eShakti. They custom tailor everything to best fit your unique body and preferences. Have you ever liked a dress but wished it were shorter/longer, had a different neckline or different sleeves? With eShakti, they give you a little menu so you have the option of making custom changes with the click of a button. How cool is that?! Right now, they have a contest going until March 31. Check it out!

Love that dress, Annie!
I really, really love that dress.
You guys get those 8-bit shows to? I thought it was just one guy in Toronto! Must be some sort of world phenomenon that I wasn’t fully aware of.
Great eShakti review!
I always think it’s funny when I rock an outfit, but the event I’m going to underwhelms. At least someone was workin’ it the night you went out in this.
This is awesome – my ex used to think that 8-bit stuff was WAY ironic but it just did my head in…
Love the layered legwear!
Don’t forget to stop by my blogs!

Your gloves gave me a flashback to ’80s Madonna, in a good way.
I’ll keep what you said about 8-bit shows in mind. Haha. Your dress looks elegant and classy, btw.

I’m having a sudden urge to go hangout by my locker and stare down all the popular girls while cracking my gum. This outfits makes me nostalgic for everything good about the late 80s and 90s.
Good Look……
Adorei Brasil – Rio de Janeiro
At least you were dressed for an occasion – it would have been worse to have dressed down AND for it to be disappointing.
I want to see what’s in your wardrobe!! http://bit.ly/d8kuou

I love those boots and it’s great the way you paired this entire outfit. Great look!
I love tiered blouses and dresses, and the sheer sleeves are a nice extra feminine touch. The fuchsia fingerless gloves look pretty on you too.
