Hot Stuff, Clovers, And Botox Propaganda

How I Spent Thursday Evening...

We went thrift shopping where I found this crazy tube top that says, "Hot Stuff." Mister wasn't so sure at check out, but once we got home he enjoyed my Britney Spears c. 1999 impersonation. Of course, I don't plan on wearing it by itself as a top beyond that moment. I also got this oversized tank top to go with it, and I'm thinking it might work as a waist cincher if I turn it inside out.
We made burritoes and pina coladas while listening to Sirius New Wave (as my twitter friends are aware). I found some clovers in the cilantro! Too bad there wasn't a four leaf clover. That would have been something else...
After dinner, we went out bar-hopping with some friends where I drank too many gin & tonics, attempted to "drunk twitter", failed (which was probably for the best), and came home to sleep all day.

Oversized tank top, thrift
"Hot Stuff" tube top, thrift
Extra long multi chain necklace, vintage
Target jeans
Bamboo by Journee shoes
Vintage mesh purse
Petites "Hot Rod" nail polish

I saw this Botox t-shirt at the thrift store. I couldn't bring myself to buy it, but I was able to snap some pictures with my cell phone. Is it weird, or what?!

  1. I am fascinated by the Botox t-shirt – do you think it was a pharmaceutical company freebie giveaway?

Thoroughly bizarre, I think I must go and google…

  2. aww only annie spandex could make a ‘hot stuff’ tube top look cute!
but what is the deal with the botox top? i would have bought it just to stare at it in fascination.

  3. That botox t-shirt is crazy, it’s even got a little registered tradmark beside ‘BOTOX’.

Cool jeans. I wish we had a Target here! All we’ve got is ASDA which is an off-shoot of Walmart.

Oh, I lied, we have Primark too. Do you guys have Primark? Primark is pretty friggin awesome. I bought 2 pairs of Tartan tights there yesterday (D&G knock-offs).

I’m glad you liked the Teddy Girls.
