Demolition Derby

This is what I wore last night to a nearby county fair. I love carnivals... the lights, the music, the unapologetic grime. It wouldn't be summertime without at least one ride on a ferris wheel.

  • DIY tank top made from a plain white t-shirt (tutorial coming soon!)
  • Pink American Apparel bra
  • Wet Seal teal acid wash skinny jeans
  • Urban Outfitters sunglasses
  • My name necklace
  • Beaded bracelet
  • Doc Marten's
  • Plus you've gotta love the demotion derby. So. Much. Fun.

See more pics from last night on My Twitter.

    1. As usual, love it all!

    2. I’ve never been to a demolition derby but it’s on my list of things to do some day. I think that watching old cars get smashed up sounds oddly therapeutic

    3. lovely outfit. those combat boots look awesome on you.

    4. Hi. I came over from Entrecard. That does look like fun and the outfit was very fitting :)

    5. Amazing tank top! I can’t wait to mess around with more bleach and Dylon when I have free time.

I’ve wanted to go to a Demolition Derby after seeing it on the Simpsons so many times; shame they don’t have anything like it here! Great idea though.

    6. Hey Annie!

Fab outfit! I love the way your working those docs, unlaced and all. I’m so envious of people that have the high top docs! I’ve only been able to thrift the lows, and I refuse to buy brand new docs when I KNOW I can find them at a thrift store SOMEWHERE in my size!! (hopefully!) I’ve been going to good wills and vintage/thrift stores all the time and no luck yet, but we’ll see.

Can’t wait to see the DIY of this tank! I love it :) Any chance of DIY’ing it in red instead of blue? I think that’d look sick, too.

Really like the idea of a name necklace…deffo going to have to pick one of those up asap!
