Boom Shellac Alacka Boom
This is what I wore to see Shellac in Louisville on Saturday.
Although there was a professional videographer there, I couldn't find a video from the show on YouTube, so this will have to do. The show was as awesome as expected, and I enjoyed the opening acts (Shannon Wright and The Web) quite a lot. Unfortunately I missed a song because I got lightheaded from all the heat and skipping dinner. BB had to rush me to a nearby Dairy Mart for chips and sprite. That was kind of embarrassing, but not bad enough to ruin anything. I was actually relieved the night went so well because I was in my ex-husband's territory--the show was a benefit for a good friend of his. I was sort of nervous about awkward confrontations but nothing like that happened. It was a good time!

Ex-husband?! It’s so interesting when you throw out little personal tid-bits like that because you don’t usually say anything about your personal life!
