Heatherette was a fashion line run by Traver Rains and famous club kid, Richie Rich (the same Richie in the Party Monster movie). The Club Kids were a group of young New York partiers who dressed in outlandish costumes inspired by drag culture and allegedly did a lot of drugs. Heatherette lasted for a little over a decade before the two decided to call it quits and pursue individual projects. Famous fans of the line include Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson. That alone can tell you the line is unabashedly and unapologetically girly--unafraid of high dosage levels of pink, glitter, and froo. It's a fashion line that will be missed. Maybe one day Travis and Richie will get together again and put out a new collection. For now, you can find discontinued styles from previous collections on eBay.
