Alexander McQueen shook the fashion world with his innovative, creative pieces that challenged the traditional concepts of apparel shapes. The resulting looks are similar to Giger Alien illustrations and appear to be of another world. Fads that can be attributed to him include punkish skull scarves and the use of digital, fractal-like, printing on dresses. His alien hoof-like shoes make earthquakes and were worn by Lady Gaga in her "Bad Romance" video, along with other McQueen pieces. Sadly, McQueen chose to leave this world in early 2010, leaving us all to wonder what other groundbreaking masterpieces he may have designed had he stuck around.
