Bruno Levy And I Don’t Like Mondays


NYC-based artist Bruno Levy has teamed up with I Don't Like Mondays to create a series of one-of-a-kind hand-painted (or I should say hand-inked) t-shirts and sneakers. I love these! I'm inspired to mark all over a plain t-shirt with a sharpee, but I admire Levy's aesthetic sensibilities; it seems simple enough, but somehow I don't think mine would turn out quite as cool.     This is so cool. I saw some great marker artwork t-shirts over at the flea market in Fort Greene, and ever sense I’ve been inspired to try it myself! Now, I’m dying to try something like this… it’s a great way to salvage some of those old white t-shirts that get those lovely yellow stains! Thanks for sharing!

    i really like this because its original and puts a new spin on tye dye. its simple which is cute and i like the bohemian style. The model however, is extremely skinny and its hard to tell if many people would be able to pull this look off who arent 95 pounds. I think they should use a heavier model for the look just so that people ae able to get more of a sense of how it would look on them. I really like the originialiy of the shirt though, and it looks great paired with the jeans. but could probably work with other pants or shorts as well. The shirt could also be worn with a belt around it to give it shape. I like the diversity of the shirt but that at the same time it is original and simple.
