Blonde For Life
Last week, I dyed my hair red and hated it! Even though I used a temporary dye that was supposed to wash out in several shampoos, I couldn't wait to get back to my natural color. I promptly went out and bought some Color Oops, and it worked like magic (or chemistry, I suppose)!

Sorry to the few of you who liked the red, I just didn't look like myself! Most of you wanted me to go back to blonde pronto, and quite a few suggested a deeper red. I'm afraid I won't be experimenting with hair color much anymore--at least not with hue. I do plan on changing the tone to a more champagne color, rather than golden. That may be boring, but I found that I keep my mojo in my blondness. The cliche is true! At least for me, I have more fun as a blonde! Sorry it's taken me so long to post an update about the hair, I was not camera-worthy. But a hearty Thanksgiving dinner has livened me up, and I'm happy to announce that I'm feeling much better!

Three cheers for Color oops!
I like your blonde hair so much!!! It’s a wise move to wash out the red coloring.
I’m so pleased to hear you’re feeling better darling, and that you had an enjoyable Thanksgiving!
I made Candied Yams and Seafoam Salad: they were so different to anything I have ever eaten with my main meal…
I went to the hairdressers today and I was going to go blonde, but there’s still too much red in my hair. So I have to wait till next time.
Xx
well i love the blonde, it suits you better though nothing wrong to be a redhead
Dollface – Hip hip hoo-ray! Seriously, that stuff works.
Wiehanne – Thank you!
Grant – Thanks, dear! I’ve never heard of seafoam salad! But candied yams are awesome, though I like to cut them with regular mashed potatoes because they’re so sweet.
Nita-Karoliina – True, which is why I wanted to try being one in the first place.
That’s much better than the red
yay for the blonde – you look like you again!
good decision!!!looks much better
I perfectly understand you dera since I change my hair color very rare )) You look great!
that looks really really good!
thanks for your comment
yay to being blonde
Cute photo! I am glad you are back to your fabulous blonde self (not that you wouldn’t be fabulous with your red hair, but I guess Blonde Annie Spandexes do have more fun).
Great that you’re feeling better – and yay go blonde! Great that you got back to your original colour – I know some blonde friends whose hair colour was never the same again after dying their hair red, but as I can see here fortunately that’s not the case with you! I love your blonde – it also goes extremely well with the make-up you always wear – red hair wouldn’t have gone that good with it.
As much fun as it is to play with hair color, you look great with your natural color
I love the blonde,
I really wish I could pull it off!
<3
Yay!! I love blonde on you. It’s so feminine and pretty. That’s great that you’re feeling better.
you have to do what pleases you the most… : )
love the blonde, cute!!
you pulled off the red, but I think I like the lovely blonde a bit better on you!
You look great!
welcome back! I’m glad to hear that you feel better.
No matter what others day if you don’t like it then.. no go.
it’s good that the coloring worked out okay going back to your lighter hair colour without any problem.
oh lucky and smart you. At least you used a temporary. I am a natural blond also and decided to try red and also black. But, did I use temporary? Why of course not. I put the real deal in and both times had to cut off all of my hair.
Your blond is lovely and definitely looks as if it suits you!!
Yup, you’re definitely a blondie! I think the shade of red you had was a bit too light for MOST skin tones, really…
I’m glad you’re comfortable with your hair again! We all know that feeling good about how you look is the most important thing, and always shows!
I would agree that a deeper red would have looked better on you, but it also would have been a lot harder to get out if you didn’t like it!
Your blond is gorgeous though. I dye my hair entirely too much, but I always come back to my blond “roots” as it were
