Some More Sequin Love

Lots of you really like my vintage sequin purse and wanted to know where you could find one. I found mine at a thrift shop in the Florida Keys (the Goodwill on Marathon, I think?), so unfortunately it could very well be one-of-a-kind. I did check out eBay however, and found some pretty cool sequin thingies.

Here's one: A purple headband. Looks like one of the mannequin's false eyelashes has fallen off--don't you hate it when that happens? Rough night, I guess.

A gold beret (teeny picture, sorry!). I need one of these. You know I love berets!

A little coin purse keychain. This is cool. They have other colors, too.

I can’t say that sequins are my favourite decorative statement – but I have been lusting after these red sequined runners and also a black sequined neck-tie for a while.

I agree though, I think you need a gold beret.

I know this isn’t going to be much help to most of your readers, but I’m pretty sure your sequin purse might come from Bali. At the markets there, they sell EVERYTHING covered in rainbow sequins. I lived in Indonesia when I was little and I had sequined shoes (which I still have! so cute!), sequined headbands, hats and bags very much like yours!

Like Ali-bel said, your bag totally looks like it came from Bali – and you can still get them there any day of the week. Lots of sequinned stuff. Because Australia is so close to indonesia, aussies go there all the time, so those sequinned purses (and the terrible matching baseball caps) turn up here in our thrift stores (op-shops) all the time too!
