A Vintage Structured Handbag Gets The Glitter Treatment
I bought this structured ladylike bag at a Goodwill back in 2005 when I was collecting vintage handbags. Lucky me, it's on trend now, but just a little too brown, a little too plain, a little too... well, ladylike! Glitter is the antidote. Lots and lots of glitter. I could have stopped at the first layer of gold flecks--it does look good--but that didn't quite cut it.
"Needs more glitter!" That was the mantra. I make no apologies for my gaudy taste.

I love it. I would definitely go for the full on glitter rather than a few sparkles too.
That”s a pretty damn genius DIY. Making a mental note for future thrifting outings…
looks awesome, it reminds me of my old bicycle seat when i was a kid
WOWWW this is incredible! And those shoes are amazing! What type of glue is it because I don”t think I”ve ever heard of that brand and I would love to try this. Very clever with mixing the glitter in with glue instead of just putting glitter on top of the glue.. love it!
